    • The Inaugural All-American Classic played on January 22, 2005, was not the first time the all-star game had been held. Before moving to Las Vegas and changing the name, the game was played in 2002 and 2003 in St. George, Utah, and broadcast on Fox Sports Net as the “Paradise Bowl.”
    • 85% of the all-stars are graduating seniors from NCAA Division I programs.
    • There are two non-UNLV football games played at Sam Boyd Stadium: the Las Vegas Bowl; and the All-American Classic.
    • There are four other Division I College Football All-Star games; Senior Bowl, East-West Shrine Game, Hula Bowl, and the Gridiron Classic.
    • Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas (Seating capacity 36,175) is the site of the game. Practices will be held at Faith Lutheran High School in Summerlin. Included among the week-long activities are the skills and measurement combine for the NFL scouts.
    • Game Day is Saturday, January 14, 2006.
    • The Classic will have 100 of the top college athletes from around the country.”
    • Head coaches of the East and West squads have included former NFL Coordinators and NFL Europe Coaches.
